I believe therapy is most effective when you feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can move at your own pace while knowing you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I work with children (ages 6 and up), adolescents, adults, and families, and I’m passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, and create lasting change.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University in 2019 and my Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State in 2022. Before joining Ebb & Flow Counseling, I spent five years working in community mental health in the Akron area, where I also served as my agency’s Senior Clinical Consultant for ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, and families experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, disruptive behaviors, adjustment disorders, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions.
I enjoy working with clients experiencing:
I work with children (ages 6+), adolescents, emerging adults, adults, parents, families, trauma survivors, neurodivergent individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I believe that every client deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported. I take a person-centered approach to therapy while incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-focused interventions, and mindfulness techniques.
As a therapist, I’m easygoing and don’t believe in putting pressure on clients to discuss difficult topics before they’re ready. At the same time, I won’t shy away from challenging conversations when the time is right. I come into each session with a thoughtful plan, but I remain flexible because I know your needs may change from week to week. My hope is to meet you where you are, adapt to the support you need most, and walk alongside you as you work toward the goals that matter most to you.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll probably find me spending time with family and friends, golfing, fishing, hiking, gardening, listening to music, watching movies, or playing video games. I was born and raised on Cleveland’s west side and have always been proud to call this area home. I’m also a big Cleveland sports fan and enjoy traveling whenever I get the chance—especially if it involves relaxing at the beach.
